Throw Fire Pottery was founded in 2023 by me, Sharon Lee.
I started taking classes at a local pottery studio in June 2022, then fell completely in love with the medium. I worked in the studio every night to keep perfecting my craft. I wanted to share my love for pottery and have started selling at craft fairs and online. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I love making it.
I create functional art through traditional pottery methods, producing limited-batch collections of one-of-a-kind pieces. Each piece is hand-thrown on the potter’s wheel, then carefully hand-carved and painted. Drawing inspiration from both the East and West, I contrast the bold colors, patterns, and landscapes of the West with the rolling hills, muted tones, and folk traditions of the East. Through my work, I strive to evoke a sense of connection, nostalgia, and appreciation for the beauty in everyday objects, allowing each piece to bring warmth and meaning to daily life.
